Dr. Wu grew up in Elmhurst right here in Queens. He went to high school in neighboring Maspeth and received his BA from CUNY Hunter College in 2008. He continued his studies at SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012. He went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the US Department of Veterans Affairs at Hudson Valley Medical Center in 2013.

Upon completion of his training, he worked at an ophthalmology office and a multi-specialty medical office in Bronx, NY for 7 years. He gained valuable experience evaluating patients with ocular emergencies, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Wu is excited to return to Queens to start his private practice, so he can care for his community. Dr. Wu speaks English, Cantonese, and basic Spanish. He currently resides in Forest Hills, Queens. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and running.
